How do we stay well in a sick time? How do we remember our aliveness as wild animals? Coming together with each other and the earth, through land connection practices can be one way. And the land needs us - when we connect, what is happening in us is also happening in the animals, mountains, rivers and plants!
I offer land-based group workshops and facilitated nature sessions for team away days, leadership visioning, staff wellbeing days and community programmes.
I have delivered nature and wellbeing sessions to hundreds of health and social care professionals. Nature connection can improve health and wellbeing, create belonging and encourage pro-environmental behaviours to steward and take action for the earth. This is more important than ever.
I have undertaken training in Eco-psychology and wilderness quest guiding, as well as coordinated nature-based approaches to health and social care across the south-west UK.
“The experience was outstanding and I am 100% likely to refer into a nature-based intervention after experiencing one” (GP, Somerset UK)
“Sophie lives and breathes nature. She IS nature and much like an iceberg her depth is far beyond what you are able to see. She makes things happen and is also willing to wait...to intuit...to feel...to be guided. Wise beyond her years. When called upon she will give you 100% and more. There is a gentleness to Sophie that is very rare, which creates a magnitude of safety” (Estelle Dube Parent, Canada Treaty 6)
